Create a New Interface – Schedule Details

Follow the steps below to define a new Interface’s schedule details.

From within the Batch Properties form click on the Schedule tab.

Using the Occurs, Daily, Weekly and Monthly fields define how often the Batch file is to run.

The table below indicates the compulsory fields for each occurrence option.

Daily

Daily – enter the number of days after which this SLIK Batch should run, e.g. enter ‘2’ if this SLIK Batch should run every second day.

Daily Frequency – check the:

Occurs Once check box and define the time using the time selection buttons  if the SLIK Batch is to activate at a predefined time each # number of days.

Occurs Every check box and define the time, in minutes or hours, after which the SLIK Batch should activate.  Using the Starting at: and Ending at: time fields set the time parameters for this Batch. 

Duration – enter or select:

the start date using the Start Date field drop-down calendar.

the end date using the End Date field drop-down calendar or if the SLIK Batch is to run until further notice check the Or no EndDate check box. 

Weekly

Weekly– enter the number of weeks after which the SLIK Batch should run, e.g. enter ‘2’ if this SLIK Batch should run every two weeks.

Using the associated check boxes indicate the date the Batch should run on.

Duration – enter or select:

the start date using the Start Date field drop-down calendar.

the end date using the End Date field drop-down calendar or if the SLIK Batch is to run until further notice check the Or no EndDate check box.

Monthly

Monthly using the associated check boxes indicate the schedule to be used:

Day – enter the day and number of months after which the SLIK Batch should run, e.g. Day 5 of Every 2 Month(s) would create a schedule whereby the SLIK Batch would active on the fifth day of every second month. 

The – select the rotation values and number of months after which the SLIK Batch should run, e.g. The 2nd Sunday of Every 2 Month(s) would create a schedule whereby the SLIK Batch would activate on the second Sunday of every second month. 

Duration – enter or select:

the start date using the Start Date field drop-down calendar.

the end date using the End Date field drop-down calendar or if the SLIK Batch is to run until further notice check the Or no EndDate check box.

 

Click on the Apply and OK buttons to save and close the new SLIK Batch or click on the Cancel button to close the Batch Properties window without saving the Batch file.

At least one Job record must be created for each batch file.  The Job record holds the details of the actual task(s) to be undertaken.
